Latest news on the community hedgerow project on Soldier's Field

REAP have the go-ahead to create a wildlife hedge along the boundary of the Roundhay allotments to encourage re biodiversity. The existing single row mature hedge will be thickened with a second row of new wildlife friendly hedging on the park side. There will also be some fruit trees planted. We had a great response to the project at the September Farmer's market with 20 volunteers signing up. And children and families enjoyed the nature activities we had on the stall.
